Nazionale is a brand that captures the essence of Italian heritage, celebrating the authenticity of two iconic spirits: Amaro Nazionale and Limoncello Nazionale. These classics are reimagined with a premium touch to speak to a modern audience while staying rooted in tradition.
- ASSIGNMENT
The goal was to create a brand identity and packaging design that would reflect the refined world of premium bartending while honoring Italian cultural roots. The concept needed to connect emotionally with the consumer, evoking the warmth and familiarity of traditional Italian bars—spaces defined by community, laughter, and timeless games like foosball.
- SOLUTION & PROCESS
The final design blends Italian tradition with a contemporary, upscale aesthetic. Inspired by the uniquely Italian social ritual of foosball in neighborhood bars, the bottles are shaped as stylized foosball players—red for Amaro, blue for Limoncello—instantly recognizable and iconic. The spherical custom cap becomes the player’s head, a sculpted front label forms the body, and a circular back label symbolizes the ball, printed on textured paper reminiscent of the game’s surfaces. Each detail was carefully considered: the UV-embossed logo adds tactile sophistication, while a subtle die-cut crest nods to the emblem found on real foosball figures. The result is a visual identity that is elegant, timeless, and playfully Italian—an authentic expression of “The Italian Spirit.”
