    The Giovanni Rana fresh pasta factory was born as an artisan, Italian small shop of fresh pasta in the after war. The great intuition that transformed the company from a small reality into a large company was to produce fresh pasta for mass consumption. It was the 60s and the first to be produced and distributed were the famous tortellini – today, thanks to continuous research, creativity and respect for quality, the company can boast a portfolio of over 1000 different references distributed in 52 countries and the opening of factories also in the USA.

  • ASSIGNMENT

    We were asked to revamp the branding and design of the Pasta Fresca Ripiena line in Italy, creating a new and fresh language that can naturally and authentically convey the product's goodness, while always maintaining the brand's iconic and warm character.

  • SOLUTION & PROCESS

    The architecture is divided into 3 ranges, each characterized by distinctive typography and colors, perfectly conveying the taste of each type of pasta. The range name arches over the Rana logo, evoking the world of traditional shops and their signs. To best represent the historic range, we have placed special emphasis on the filling ingredients, which are the absolute protagonists of the packaging, capable of conveying the goodness and authenticity that characterize Rana products.
